Yes I agree with you, but currently it seems Google is focusing on making Chrome OS more &quot;Internet&quot; savvy than compete head on with Microsoft&#039;s Windows. The latest &amp; upcoming version of Windows i.e Win 7 has really got some very good reviews and it seems has raised the bar to some extent for an OS. Also The official Google Blog says that Chrome OS will be released for the notebooks, so before it hits mainstream desktops etc, it will take time.</description>

was thinking that one day, Google would launch an Operating system that 
would complete with Windows XP or Vista. Google and Microsoft would 
compete head to head now that Microsft launched its Bing search engine.</description>
